Bundler is a standalone SaaS platform designed to streamline the process of assembling branded, professional bid submittals and technical documents from multiple PDF sources. Originally born from a custom tool Ryan created while at OBE, Bundler was inspired by real-world feedback from sales engineers, clients, and even competitors who struggled with time-consuming, inconsistent document prep workflows. By simplifying how documents are selected, merged, and branded, Bundler empowers users to deliver polished packages that reinforce product value and accelerate sales conversations.
After the success of the original “bundler” concept within OBE’s GAME-On tool, I began exploring how to expand and modernize it as an independent platform. I had received growing interest from former colleagues and even industry competitors after the internal tool was sunset — many of whom still needed its functionality. This new version builds upon lessons learned from the original, incorporating flexible document manipulation, improved performance, and a polished, user-friendly interface. I'm currently designing and building the SaaS infrastructure in my spare time, with a focus on making it accessible, scalable, and industry-agnostic.
• SaaS Architecture & Infrastructure Planning
Designed the application to be hosted independently from legacy tools, ensuring scalability and multi-tenant support for a broader audience.
• User-Centered Product Development
Incorporated real-world feedback from internal teams and external users to shape features around real pain points in bid submittal workflows.
• Advanced PDF Handling
Built custom logic to allow merging, branding, and reordering of PDF documents with metadata tagging and support for dynamic field population.
• Cross-Industry Research & Validation
Collected feedback and use cases from professionals across the U.S. and Europe to validate the tool’s relevance and guide the roadmap.
• Legacy Tool Modernization
Evolved a limited internal prototype into a full-featured product decoupled from OBE’s internal platforms, opening the door to broader adoption.
