I’m a dedicated, loyal designer with a passion for programming and influencing the way people interact with technology. More than an artisan, I’m a tutor as well. I believe strongly in helping people from all walks of life understand technology and how to deliver their message.

During my studies at Minnesota State University - Moorhead, I was asked to lead the Multimedia and Design portion of an online general-interest magazine, "Horizonlines.org". Through my efforts leading the two teams we were able to produce the seventh volume which went on to win the 2009 Upper Midwest Regional Emmy for Advanced Media Student Production

After graduating with a degree in Graphic Communications from Minnesota State University, I moved back to Oregon. While there, I spent a few years working to make a name for myself throughout Portland in the world of web design. Not long after my arrival I was offered an amazing opportunity to manage the online presence of Portland's CBS Affiliate KOIN Local 6 (now KOIN.com).

In managing and maintaining all things web, I had the good fortune of working with a lot of great clients, including Disney, McDonalds, Nike and OHSU to name a few. I was even given the chance to design and develop a lot of sales related projects for our clients. This often included partaking in the meetings and followup discussions with the clients. My contract with KOIN ended when they were up and running on their new platform and I had stabilized their online digital presence during KOIN's transition between owners.

My wife and I decided to move closer to her family in Northwest Ohio and I was quickly hired by Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) a CRH Company. For the past 4 years I’ve been their Lead PHP Developer, maintaining over 50 websites for each of their plants across north america. I was also put in charge of building GAME-On, an entirely new online tool giving customers the ability to request quotes and manage their construction projects online. GAME-On also includes a shopping cart, which accesses the inventory of all of OBE's plants throughout North America allowing our customers the ability to request quotes and buy parts directly from our plants. We've recently launched GAME-On to select customers and are doing a slow roll-out to our entire customer base encompassing several thousand customers. GAME-On has already become an integral part of OBE's strategy to gain marketshare and increase relations with new and existing customers.

As with everyone, I’m always open to new possibilities and enjoy helping people fullfill their design and web related needs. Feel free to browse the samples of my work I've included on this site and shoot me an email.

Thanks for taking a look!
