There were many businesses around the Portland Metro Area that would come to KOIN looking to get the word out on some of their different initiatives. At times this meant simply putting together a few banners to run throughout the site. But what made KOIN so unique was that we often created an entire splash page dedicated to their cause.

Rather than simply write a story about an upcoming event and have it get lost in the daily news, I would build an entire page. Sometimes the client would request multiple pages, but generally it was one page containing all of the information they wanted. It was up to me to design and build the page keeping the design in spec with what the client required and our CMS.

During my time at KOIN we transitioned between three different platforms. Some of the initiatives had to be redesigned to run on the different platforms because we happened to change the CMS during some of the promotional periods.
